Welcome to Manorfield Primary School

I am delighted to introduce myself to you as Manorfield’s new headteacher.

I have taken up post since 01 September 2023.

I have worked alongside Mr. Jackson, the former headteacher, for a number of years as a fellow headteacher in the borough. Because of this I am very aware of the contribution that Manorfield has made both to its children’s learning and fantastic outcomes and also to the community as a whole, particularly since Covid.

As such, it is an honour to be here and I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the school on its next phase of development.

Understandably, during this first half term, I will be immersing myself in the school; listening to stakeholders and observing throughout.

In due course, this statement will be replaced with an informed and detailed welcome and vision for the school, but in the meantime, please know I am here, and I look forward to working with you all.

Manorfield Primary School in East London, serves one of the most deprived communities in the country. From Monday 30th March, we are operating a food/essential items distribution system to our vulnerable families (up to approx 400 families).
