P4C Training at Manorfield

At Manorfield, we recognise that the role of the facilitator (teacher) is crucial in ensuring quality dialogue and progress. As such, we have a regular programme of training and development in place for staff and aim to train all teaching and support staff to Level 1.

We run regular SAPERE Validated Level 1 P4C Training courses, which are open to teachers from other schools and settings and led by a SAPERE registered trainer.

East London P4C Hub

Manorfield is the lead primary school in the East London P4C Hub, a network of local schools dedicated to sharing best practice in P4C. The aim of the project is to enhance the educational attainment, and personal and social development of primary and secondary school students in East London. All schools follow the SAPERE Going for Gold programme which offers a planned and structured approach to P4C training and support in order to help schools develop and sustain P4C in the longer term.
