Subject Vision:
At Manorfield, all children will gain an extensive knowledge of History through a sense of awe and wonder inspired by our project based, creative curriculum.
We will seek to expand on children’s historical knowledge and skills inspiring a curiosity for historical learning.
We will extend and embed children’s historical learning through engaging trips, visits from experts and teacher’s own subject knowledge.
Children will explore their own identity, building on their knowledge and respect of diversity, celebrating important historical events, figures and exploring change through history and how developments and events have shaped their present lives and the world around them.
