Favorite thing about Manorfield: For this, I would say the quality of relationships that exist across our rich and diverse community. Every day, such a high degree of care is shown by people towards each other, adults and children. Whilst at the same time, we strive together for children to achieve outcomes that they are really proud of!What I like to see children doing outside of school? Spending time with their friends engaged in positive activity outdoors, that gives them plenty of physical activity as well as the opportunity to develop their creative play and team building skills.Favourite childhood book: I used to really enjoy 'Swallows and Amazons'. The Swallows and Amazons series is a series of twelve children's adventure novels by English author Arthur Ransome. They were set in the interwar period and the novels involve group adventures by children. No computers but lots of fun!

Favourite thing about Manorfield: That it's good but it's going to get even better.
What I like to see children doing out of school: ¿ ½Having fun - preferably with some exercise as part of it.
Favourite children ¿ ½s book: My favourite series as a child featured Agaton Sax, the famous (in the 1970's!) Swedish detective but he is probably a bit old fashioned for today's kids.

Favourite thing about Manorfield: My favourite thing about Manorfiled is the friendly and welcoming staff, since I have worked at Manorfield I have gained many friends and enjoy coming to work every day because of the team that I work with. As well as this I think the children we have here are respectful, polite and willing to learn. It is lovely to see such engagement and curiosity for learning when walking around the school.
If you ran an after school club, what would it be
If I ran an after school club, I think it would have to be a cookery club. I think a cookery club would be a lovely way for the children to be making their own food and it would allow them to explore the different types of foods that can be used to make simple and healthy snacks.
Favourite children's book:
My favourite children's book of all time has to be The Gruffalo. This book has many memories for me and it is a story I read to my sisters when they were young. As well as reading this book, I have visited The Gruffalo forest whereby you are able to explore all the characters that are in the story. I find Julia Donaldson's stories magical and enchanting.
