PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT AT MANORFIELD
WorkPath - Employment Support at Local Children's Centres
Parents and carers of children aged from 0 – 11 are now able to access a unique employment service provided by WorkPath at their local children’s centres. A dedicated Information and Advice and Guidance (IAG) officer now offers a weekly employment advice surgery in each Children’s Centre. This makes the service more accessible for residents with young children. WorkPath provides support for people at all levels of work, skill or experience. They can provide employment support, basic skills or advanced training; access to work experience, apprenticeships or graduate schemes; CV help, interview preparation and more. Parents are encouraged to book appointment by contacting their local Children’s Centres.

Parental Engagement at Manorfield
The community is the heart of our school, meaning that parental engagement is crucial to our successes, both academic and non-academic. Fostering a link between home and school is vital to Manorfield, so we aim to create an environment in which parents/carers feel comfortable entering the building, interacting with staff and discussing any questions they may have.
Every term, we offer a range of high quality provisions in which parents/carers can view their children’s educational progress, develop their own skills and build links with others from the local community. In addition, we share and promote multiple schemes and courses run by external providers across Tower Hamlets.
We will always continue to develop our offer for parents/careers and uphold our commitment to helping our families in any way we can.
